Currently Available Lead and Speaking Roles

AMANDA LEE WEBER ("Mandy") - Steven's Daughter - Age Range 19-22 - Caucasian - Tall beautiful blond girl-next-door. She is as much glamourous as she is down-home country. Sweet and caring, the bond that she has with her father is more like best friends. As a child, Amanda Lee suffered ghostly dreams, but has not had nightmares of that sort for a long time. *This Role is Cast*

ASHLYN SYKES - Neighbor Friend - Age Range 16-19 - Caucasian or possibly ethnic - She's thinking of leaving to go away to college. She has an interest in the occult. She dresses and acts somewhat "dark," but she's still a country girl inside. *This Role is Cast*

STEVEN WEBER – Amanda Lee's Father - Age Range 38-48 - Caucasian - Strong and good looking, his wife is seen in the first scene of the story, but has long since passed away. Not necessarily made of muscles, but definitely he is strong from working his ranch so many years.

YOUNG AMANDA LEE WEBER – Child Version of the main character, played by Carolee Gee - Age Range 4-5 - Caucasian - This character portrays Carolee as a child in several flashback childhood scenes. Strong acting skills required (will have a nightmare and crying scene). Should be blond and resemble a younger version of actress Carolee Gee. *This Role is Cast*

PRE-TEEN AMANDA LEE WEBER – Pre-Teen Version of the main character, played by Carolee Gee - Age Range 10-13 - Caucasian - This character portrays Carolee just before teen age during several flashback scenes. Should be blond and resemble a younger version of actress Carolee Gee.

NANA WEBER - Grandmother - Age Range 65-72 - Caucasian - She's a strong woman, despite her age; quite healthy. She's the mother hen over the entire family, probably having taken over as mother for Amanda Lee when Steven's wife passed away.

BILL “GRAND” WEBER - the Grandfather - Age Range 70-85 - Caucasian - He's senile, but testy. Often times he pretends to be more frail than he really is.

RAY JACKSON - Neighbor from another ranch - Age Range 48-65 - An African American man who doesn't appear to be totally sane… but he is harmless. He is from a ranch a mile or two up the road and is obsessed with visions of his ex-wife haunting him. *This Role is Cast*

SUZANNE WEBER - Caucasian Female - Age Range 28-32 - This is Steven's wife and Amanda Lee's mother. She is seen only in flashback scenes while Amanda is little.

DWAYNE - Escaped Convict - Age Range 35-45 - Any ethnic - He is a tough and hardened criminal who's probably served time multiple occassions. Whatever his recent crime, it's enough time to have made him want to get out. He and Rick have escaped from the state prison and are heading toward the ranch, randomly ending up there as a place to hide out.

RICK - Escaped Convict - Age Range 25-30 - Any ethnic (but should match Dwayne) - He is less threatening and more wirey. Rick could be the younger brother of Dwayne.

BAR GUY #1 and BAR GUY #2 - Age Range 20-28 - A couple of good old boys, ala Dukes of Hazard? They hang out in the local bar, they play horseshoes, and they both have an eye for Amanda Lee.

OLD MAN - Age Range 55-70 - He's at the bar drinking. Has a few lines.

JOE DUKE (BARTENDER) - Caucasian Male - Age Range 30-45 - Typical bartender; he is a good listener.

PROFESSOR ANGSTROM - Caucasian Male - Age Range 45-55 - A distinguised man, he is wise and soft spoken.

TEEN GIRLS (TIFFANY, LOUISE, JEN SUE) - All Ethnics - Age Range 15-19 - Ashlyn and Amanda Lee's various friends. Various speaking roles available.

TEACHERS - All Ethnics - Age Range 28-45 - These are the teachers that bring children to the ranch on field trips. Various speaking roles available.

STUDENTS - All Ethnics - Age Range 6-12 - Various children exploring the ranch on their field trips. Various speaking roles available.
